Oswald's Bear Ranch
The Oswald's Bear Ranch is the largest bear only ranch in the United States. The ranch consists of four beautiful and spacious habitats. They have a very large parking lot to accommodate all types of vehicles. When you arrive to the bear ranch guests can visit their gift shop and concessions shop, where you can find a bite to eat and buy apples to feed the bears. Entering the main bear area, you will have the opportunity to get your photos taken with a bear cub. Walk paths will lead you around the bear habitats to the great viewing platforms.

Upper Tahquamenon Falls
The Upper Tahquamenon Falls is one of the most fantastic attractions in the State of Michigan. This beautiful waterfall is located in the Tahquamenon Falls State Park which encompasses a total of 50,000 acres of pure virgin forests, waterfalls and a majestic river. The Upper Tahquamenon Falls is the second largest waterfall east of the Mississippi.
The Upper Tahquamenon Falls is over 200 feet wide and 48 feet tall. When we receive high precipitation, over 50,000 gallons of water spill over the waterfall per second. You will need a park pass to visit Michigan's State Parks.

Lower Tahquamenon Falls
Located just 4 miles downstream from the Upper Falls, the Lower Tahquamenon Falls is really a complete surprise to many visitors. People can hike, rent a boat to fish, park there boat and enjoy Nature's waterpark.
Many small waterfalls cascade around an island for people to enjoy and cool off in the summer heat. There is also a four mile hike to the Upper Falls and entails a winding path along the Tahquamenon River. The trail is long, please be prepared and bring adequate supplies.

Historical Camp 33
Camp 33 is part of the history of the Tahquamenon Falls State Park. When visiting the park, take a stroll along the enormous deck and enjoy food and spirits at the Tahquamenon Falls Brewery and Pub and gifts and the Camp 33 Gift Shop.
Visitors can enjoy outdoor seating, making a fire in the outdoor fireplace along with relaxing in one of the many rocking chairs (both for adults and children).

Tahquamenon Falls Boat Tours and Toonerville Trolley
The Toonerville Trolley is an authentic narrow gauge railroad that takes you 5.5 miles through thick forests, the habitat of bear, deer, moose, gray wolf, and many types of birds. At the end of the track is your first view of the Tahquamenon River, where the riverboat is boarded for a 21 mile cruise down the river to the rapids 1/2 mile above the Upper Tahquamenon Falls.
Tour #1 is a 6 1/2 hour round trip train and riverboat tour to our private access at the Upper Tahquamenon Falls. The only tour to Tahquamenon Falls. Tour #2 is a 1 3/4 Hour Wilderness Train Ride.

Soo Locks Boat Tours
One of our featured Sault Ste. Marie attractions is the Soo Locks Boat Tours. This is one of the top five attractions in the State of Michigan. They have a fleet of five tour vessels which offer: Soo Locks sightseeing tours, Luncheon and Dinner Cruises, along with their adventurous Lighthouse Cruise.
The Soo Locks Boat Tours also offers Fireworks Cruises and Fireworks Dinner Cruises on July 1st and Independence Day on July. They also have many other Special Event Cruises.
Guests will see all four of the US Locks, the St. Mary's Rapids, the Historic Canadian Lock, and the giant hydro-electric plants.

Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore

Tahquamenon River Logging Museum
The Tahquamenon Logging Museum and Nature Study, located just 1 1/2 miles North of Newberry Michigan, invites you to come to their museum and park to explore the original buildings and memorabilia from lumberjack days of the past. Come and see the original C.C.C. buildings full of old photos, models and original logging equipment. Eat a real lumberjack's breakfast in the Authentic Cook-shack made over a wood stove with home made care and goodness. Stroll along the boardwalk and nature trail and see part of the Tahquamenon Forest. The Tahquamenon River is nestled along this beautiful trail, where blue herons, ducks, birds and other wildlife abound.

Seney National Wildlife Refuge
The Seney National Wildlife Refuge is comprised of 95,212 acres of wilderness, swamps, islands, and lakes. Animals abound and thrive within the safe haven of this refuge. Beautiful Trumpeter Swans, osprey, deer, loons, moose, deer, turtles, geese, fish, eagles, along with many other species.
The 7-mile Marshland Wildlife Drive is a must for wildlife viewers visiting the refuge. The route takes visitors alongside open water ponds and wetlands, sedge meadows, and through forests. These diverse habitats attract native and migratory wildlife, many of which can be seen at close range on both sides of the auto route, and often seen in the pine stands growing along many of the dikes.

Cut River Bridge
The Cut River Bridge was built in 1947 and spans the Cut River between Epoufette and Brevort. There is a long wooden staircase to the valley below that was constructed some time after the construction of the bridge itself. The bridge carries traffic on US 2 above and spans the Cut River Valley, 147 feet below. This area is especially beautiful in the fall where all the trees surrounding the bridge become engulfed with red, orange and yellow.

Luce County Historical Museum
Constructed in 1894, the Luce County Historical Museum is located at 411 West Harrie Street in Newberry, Michigan. This State and National Historic site is a must see for all ages. The Luce County historical Museum is constructed of Jacobsville Sanstone and was designed by architects Lovejoy and Demare.
Here you will find a great collection of Luce County History, the old jail and sheriff's residence, maps, pictures, along with other valuable artifacts. Admission is free, donations are appreciated.

Whitefish Point
The Whitefish Point Light, a lighthouse in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, is the oldest operating light on Lake Superior. It is arguably the most important light on Lake Superior. All vessels entering and leaving Lake Superior must pass the light. It stands on the treacherous southern shoreline of Lake Superior known as the "Graveyard of the Great Lakes" in an area with more shipwrecks than any other area of the lake.
