"Great bait store, very nice people, and they had "hard to find" items for the area. Didn't stay at the lodge, but got my bait for fishing there two times, and after I broke a pole, they had a few there for sale! Also had a great selection of used paperback books for $1 ea, and fresh hot coffee. Very nice place and will consider staying there on my next trip!"—Deacon Blues, 5/5 Google Reviews
Great Location
If you haven't been to Michigan's Upper Peninsula, please add it to your bucket list. Our resort is located on both of the ATV / UTV Trails and the Snowmobile Trails. It is truly a paradise and an awesome experience for our visitors. We are far enough from busy cities to find peace and tranquility, but close enough to great attractions, shopping, restaurants, bars, golfing, and just 23 miles away in Newberry, we have the only theater in the Eastern Upper Peninsula. So here you have the best of both worlds, sandy beaches, sunsets, agate hunting on Lake Superior, and great eats and things to do.

"Rick and Kristi are very friendly people that definitely love what they do. Our cabin was perfectly stocked and exceptionally clean. The store has everything you need and then some! We are just leaving after a weekend of snowmobiling. Rick was very helpful with helping us with our large trailer and Kristi came to say goodbye as we left. You won't be disappointed with your stay!"—Samantha Jean, 5/5 Google Reviews
Owners & Your Hosts, Rick & Kristi Jackson
We are proud to introduce ourselves as the new owners of Deer Park Lodge the "Hidden Gem" of Michigan. Rick and I have a rich Michigan heritage and look so forward to sharing that with the many visitors at Deer Park Lodge. To introduce ourselves, we are going back to our childhood where we first fell in love with the UP. My family always took their vacations in the summer to the UP. We had a little pop up camper and traveled all over staying at many different state parks and campgrounds. We visited all the tourist attractions more than once and stopped whenever my parents found something interesting. We spent many hours on the shores of the Great Lakes just playing and hunting for rocks and drift wood. It was the best time and I always dreamed of living on the lake and now that has come true.
